Last night, winners of the 82nd Golden Globe Awards were revealed in a celebrity loaded ceremony by comedian Nikki Glaser. Though I had planned to watch the proceedings and do some kind of live reveal via the “X” social media account I have, I had other things to do with the time and find myself presenting the full winners list rundown and their categories for you down below. For this narrative I’ve also left the other nominations so you could compare and find them fueling your argument about who you felt should have won if you were unhappy with the decision.

Presenting The 82nd Golden Globe Awards Nominations

Earlier today, the 82nd Golden Globe Awards released their nominations in a press conference that was hosting by both Morris Chestnut and Mindy Kaling. Sadly I wasn’t able to view this myself but I culled all of the important information from a few sources to be able to present the full rundown of the nominations. The ceremony will be broadcast on January 5th and now without any further adieu, here are the nominations.

Presenting The Winners Of MTV’s 2022 “Video Music Awards”

Tonight’s the night for the reveal of the annual MTV VMA’s which are the Video Music Awards winners. Now I know you are probably chuckling at this since MTV isn’t as known for the videos as much anymore and seems to be more about the Reality Shows but the ceremony is a popular one and it was awesome to know that it would be taking place at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ. Based on scheduling and that so little emphasis is on my own favored musical genres, I wouldn’t be in attendance but here is the rundown of the winners that were announced during the broadcast. As is my standard with such events, I have left the nomination names as well so fans can see who the winners were up against.

MTV Reveals Nominations For 2022 “Video Music Awards” (VMAs)

The Press Release:
MTV today unveiled the highly-anticipated nominations for the 2022 “VMAs,” featuring artists whose cultural impact and work over the past year have transformed the music industry and created global conversations. Jack Harlow, Kendrick Lamar and Lil Nas X (7 each) lead this year’s nominations, closely followed by Doja Cat and Harry Styles (6 each), and Billie Eilish, Drake, Dua Lipa, Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift and The Weeknd (5 each).

Leading the pack with 7 nods apiece, Jack Harlow and Lil Nas X both earned multiple nominations for hit collaboration “INDUSTRY BABY,” which world premiered live on the 2021 “VMAs” stage, alongside Kendrick Lamar, who is nominated for the first time since 2018. Madonna, who reigns at the most awarded artists in MTV history with 20 wins, becomes the only artist to be nominated in each of the “VMAs” five decades (1980s-2020s), as she earns her 69th nomination for “MADAME X.” This year also sees 26 first-time nominees, including Baby Keem (4), MTV PUSH artist GAYLE (2), Kacey Musgraves (2) and Måneskin (2), all receiving multiple nods, plus first nominations for Anitta, Becky G, Dove Cameron, Karol G, ITZY, JID, Muni Long, Tems, Wet Leg and more.

Last night the BET Awards for 2021 were given out in a ceremony hosted by Taraji P. Henson. We didn’t watch the overall broadcast but will share the news with those readers who waned to know the scoop but didn’t tune in.
