Last night, the Recording Academy handed out the trophies during the 64th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony and no, I didn’t manage to watch or even DVR the program. I worked all day and then spent the night rocking out with Dragonforce for the PiercingMetal site. I did cull the winners into the list that you will find below and this time around I’ve decided to leave off the other nominees in most of the categories since the original list was a lengthy and ponderous read. Mayor de Blasio Unveils “We Love NYC: The Homecoming Concert”

Mayor Bill de Blasio, music industry legend Clive Davis, and Live Nation and NYCEDC chair Danny Meyer today announced the all-star lineup set to perform at the “WE LOVE NYC: The Homecoming Concert produced by New York City, Clive Davis and Live Nation” on the Great Lawn in Central Park on Saturday, August 21.

Presenting The 78th Annual Golden Globe Awards Winners

The 78th Annual Golden Globe Awards were handed out in a virtual ceremony that was hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler who are returning for the fourth time, after hosting in 2013, 2014, and 2015. Fey and Poehler will share duties from their respective cities, with Fey on the East Coast and Poehler on the West Coast. Fey will be live from New York’s Rainbow Room, Poehler will be live from the Beverly Hilton, in Beverly Hills, and nominees, from various locations around the world. The full list of winners are:
