Now Streaming: “Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies” on Paramount+ (4/6/2023)

Well hello again my Greasers, its time to take a zip back into the fabulous fifties to Rydell High and learn the origins of the Pink Ladies as the original series “Grease: Rise Of The Pink Ladies” is made available for streaming today on the Paramount+ service. For those in the unaware, please know that I recently touched upon this topic in a post that you can find by clicking HERE. As a reminder I’ve also repeated the premise, casting and artwork. The Premise: The series takes place in 1954, four years before the events of Grease, and follows four fed-up and misfit students who band together to bring out the moral panic that will change Rydell High forever and become the founding mothers of the first female high school clique, known as the “Pink Ladies”.

Now Streaming: “Cobra Kai” Season 1 and 2 on Netflix (8/28/2020)

It was only a few short days ago that we shared the news about Netflix taking on the YouTube Original Series “Cobra Kai” with its season one and two trailer (found HERE). That show’s early episodes are now on the popular streaming service for all to enjoy as of right now. Take a look at one of the posters we found along with some premise and the ensemble cast. I’ll come back at the close as well.

The Premise: Decades after the tournament that changed their lives, the rivalry between Johnny and Daniel reignites in this sequel to the “Karate Kid” films. Two dojos. One epic rivalry. The Cobra Kai legacy continues only on Netflix. Seasons 1 and 2 strike back August 28th. Season 3 enters the tournament in 2021. (c/o Netflix)

Now Streaming: Matt Groenig’s “Disenchantment” (8/17/2018)

It was just about a month ago that I shared the trailer for the Netflix Original Series “Disenchantment” which is a Matt Groenig creation. You know him best as the creator of “The Simpsons” and “Futurama”. If you missed that post for some reason just click HERE to see it because we are now at the time of this series being streamed in its entirety. The Plot: Set in the medieval fantasy kingdom of Dreamland, the series follows the story of Bean, a rebellious and alcoholic princess, her naïve elf companion Elfo, and her “personal demon” Luci.
