There doesn’t seem to be a shortage of animated features to enjoy with the younger members of your family circle, or even by yourself if you are feeling young at heart. The first full official trailer for the Warner Animation Group’s “Smallfoot” recently came to light and I am sharing this along with the premise, casting and “coming soon” poster. Enjoy.
In 2018, we will all have another reason to be afraid to go into the water thanks to “The Meg” which is short for “Megalodon” which means giant frigging Great White Shark. I’ve had interest in reading the novel that this film is based on and the first trailer for the upcoming Warner Brother Pictures release is presented below for your perusal.
The Premise: After escaping an attack by what he claims was by a 70-foot shark, Jonas Taylor must confront his fears to save those trapped in a sunken submersible (c/o IMDB).

Piercing Ken Thoughts: I loved this trailer and felt that it brings back some of the monster shark craze that hit when “Jaws” was release so many years ago. I read that book long before I saw it in the movies and even the book had me off water for awhile. Of course this fear didn’t apply to the bathtub despite my youthful insistence and parents, I fear we might find this sort of behavior resurfacing thanks to “The Meg”. Personally speaking, I love giant monster films and since Megalodon is an ancient predator he falls into that category when it comes to this film. I’m also a Jason Statham fan so look forward to seeing this one. What did you think of the trailer? The Harry Potter films might have ended with the central character but now its time to look back into the realm from which they hail with the sequel to “Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them” with the film “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald”.
