*** end of rundown ***

Piercing Ken Thoughts: When I posted about the nominations, I had pointed out that the only films I saw from the list were “Avengers: Endgame”, “Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker” and “Joker” so I was glad to see “Joker” winning some of the trophies. I did enjoy that movie but I had some issues with parts of where it went in the Batman mythology. Sometimes I am a purest with the comic book film stuff and I do realize that they cannot do this stuff word for word and keep the history as tight as we’d like but I digress. What I do like about the awards shows from other areas is how they sometimes spotlight films from the region and most of us wouldn’t be aware of them otherwise. If these rundowns serve any purpose I hope it makes you look into some of the films. As I close this up I am hoping that your 2020 is progressing nicely and I can tell you that I already have a mile long list of to do in terms of the conventions and the shows. We’ll be doing NY Now soon and then its onto Toy Fair so hooray for that. Stay tuned, and thanks for reading as always.
