Hello my dear readers and a very Merry Christmas to you all if you are indeed celebrating it like we do here in the creative confines of the PiercingKen Sanctum Sanctorum. I’m a little behind in getting this posting online today and that was based on my needing to pull a lot of the photos off of the new phone as opposed to how I usually did this with my little point and shoot camera. That said, here are a whole bunch of Christmas themed visuals and be sure to stick around until the very end because that is the place to see all of the giant Christmas trees that we snapped as well. I’ll keep the banter light and let these photos do the talking. Enjoy.

Happy Thanksgiving 2014 Readers
It’s Thanksgiving Day 2014 and I wanted to take a quick moment of your time to wish you a very, very Happy Thanksgiving to you and your families and pretty much anyone who brightens the time that you spend in a day.
I have to say that I am very thankful for my amazing Mom and Dad who have successfully taught me the value of family and being sure that time is best spent with them while its possible to do so. Sadly I will not be seeing the folks this holiday and will be enjoying some eats with cousins but despite that I have to think that Mom is enjoying the time off from this detail now that they are living down South enjoyment retirement 🙂

Happy Halloween 2014 New York City (10/31/2014)
Happy Halloween my dear readers, my hope is that you are getting ready for a fun day or just are prepared to dish out some treats to the costumed visitors that will come a calling as the day progresses.
Readers of this blog are already used to my now annual presentation of various spookified images that I have snagged around the shops of NYC for Halloween but I would like to take this time to welcome all of our new fans to this sort of thing. I’ll keep the chatter limited and instead let your eyes do their own captions. Let’s do this.

Happy National Coffee Day (9/29/2014)
While still surfing the web at 12:45AM I learned that today was actually National Coffee Day, and given my absolute love for the beverage I wanted to post a little something for you about it. The show below is actually from the previous mornings coffee in my Batman cup. This might be a Neal Adams rendition of the Caped Crusader but I admit that I have never looked that closely at the cup. Since it was also the 75th Anniversary of Batman this year I felt that this worked best as an opening shot.
Happy National Cheese Pizza Day (9/5/2014)
Perhaps you didn’t know about this one either, but today is apparently “National Cheese Pizza Day” and while this its being referred to as an unofficial kind of national holiday; I like to think that I can get behind it with a little bit of gusto. I love pizza and to me there is nothing quite like the stuff we get here in The Big Apple NYC so what I did was gather up a few photos of pizza that I have snagged with my phone while out and about and making pizza the dining option.
Longtime readers of The Chronicles Of Piercing Ken blogs know full well that I am an active participant of the Foodspotting application and you can look more into that yourself by clicking HERE. Now let’s get to some pizza photos. This first shot comes from my own neighborhood spot called Nino’s which is conveniently located right down the street from me. I’ve shared a few photos of some different options that I have had from this place. If you are in Bay Ridge do check them out, they’re in the 90’s on 3rd Avenue.
