Scenes From CoffeeFest 2025 @ Javits Center (Part One)

The CoffeeFest for 2025 recently took over a section of Javits Center for its annual trade show. For those in the coffee industry and its adjacent businesses, it is definitely the place to be. At the time of my visit, the trade show had been happening for a day already and I didn’t have a press badge until I dropped into their show room and express my own interest.  In the past, if one had a Media badge for the co-located New York Restaurant Show you were golden for this trade show but that has changed now.

Once inside and prepped I began walking the aisles to hopefully talk to some interesting exhibitors and sample as many coffees as my system could handle.  My first stop were the farmers from Finca La Fortuna.  We did an interview that will post to our Official YouTube eventually.

Next stop was the Bub Luv bubble tea booth which is the creation of Diana Ark Chen.  I was able to sample each of these teas and they were very tasty.  I don’t often have bubble tea so when I do its a nice treat.  I wish Diana the very best with her brand and thank her for also being in my photo narrative.

Here’s the team from Superlost.  A very busy booth when I arrived but glad to meet them and sample their wares.  It’s not even been thirty minutes and I’ve already had two large sips of coffee and three tastings of bubble tea.  I was beginning to feel like The Flash.  The Grant Gustin one, not the Ezra Miller one IYKYK.

The folks from Mill City Roasters had a coffee truck onsite for people to explore so I couldn’t resist going inside and taking some photographs.  I didn’t see a spot to actually sample there coffee but I was good for a few minutes on that end.

Since I love balloon sculptures I had to add this coffee truck for you all to enjoy as well.

This next section was interesting to me because it was a Distributor Pavilion under the Odeko enterprise.  Post trade show I looked them up and learned that they were a “operations and supply chain management platform designed for independent coffee shops, cafes, and small food businesses.  Let’s explore.

Alldae was the first brand I saw and sampled.  These superfruit sodas were very tasty but lately I’ve been on a zero-sugar whenever possible journey so that is always a consideration for me.

Growing up, the original “Slice” soda was a favorite but there was only one.  The green can essentially.  Now they have returned as a part of the Suja company are there are numerous flavors.  The rep sent me home with a few samples of the pictured below but once again I am doing zero-sugar whenever possible.

This organic fiery ginger drink packed a punch.  I drank a half at the show and saved the rest for later.  It was a small bottle but I already had a lot in the tank if you know what I mean ;p

Having met the folks from Next Level at past events I knew what they were concocting and they were serving up their unique blends at the show.  They handed me one and I was now on overdrive.  Tasty and very energizing.

Tenzo is a matcha company and to be brutally honest, I’ve not quite taken to matcha stuff.  This was tasty but not really for me.  Their booth rep was a delight to talk to so is included in our overview.

This was tasty and I will admit that I don’t often go for the oatmilk option in my coffee.  Currently I use a brand of Half and Half since I find my preferred 1% regular milk to leave my coffee a little too dark.

Colombe had their cold brew offerings on hand.  My first go at this kind of coffee was when Dunkin had it.  I’m not the biggest ice coffee fan and even find myself drinking a piping hot cup even if its 100 degrees outside.

The items pictured below are not samples to taste but for modelling only.  There was  a company present who had some samples on a smaller plate below this image and they were tasty.  After all the coffee I had it was nice to have a little solid food in me.

Dry Brew was very interesting and the folks present at CoffeeFest were repping the brand but not its founding people.  This is essentially a chew that gives you the same effect as a cup of coffee.  I enjoyed them and think that they are perfect to carry along with you at events like this one, but for me personally, there is nothing quite like a steaming hot cup of coffee to bring you into the day.

These were tasty.  They are kind of cheesecake snacks.  Very small and very addictive.  I had a couple of their samples and highly recommend them.  Especially if you own a coffee shop of some kind.

Since the CoffeeFest is catering to small coffeehouses and shops there are often other items associated with sating the customers needs.  That finds the Popcorn Factory being present along with their super friendly representative.

I found the rep to be a creative whirlwind of things that they were up to so she gets an extra fun photo in our narrative.  Her name is Shiho and I’m sure that we’ll see her name in the lights at some point.

These are the Painterland Sisters.  Yes really sisters and running a long time family business.  It’s a tasty yogurt and I can attest to that.  I wasn’t a yogurt person until a few years ago but can safely say that this is a worthwhile snack and better for you than candies and cake.  Those are good once in awhile but not all the time when you are on a healthy eating path.

That’s going to bring me to the end of this first installment of the coverage that I did for the 2025 CoffeeFest. I’ll have another installment for you shortly and as far as the video pieces that I mentioned doing, our Official YouTube Channel is dealing with an incredible backlog based on how much content we’ve been securing for it so please be patient on those aspects. Suffice it to say I was pretty ramped up from all the coffee that I sampled along the way and felt that my caffeine levels had approached a superhuman tolerance. Please note that with something like forty different brands visited in this narrative that I will NOT be adding forty different links down below and instead encourage you to copy their name and paste it into a Google search bar to bring you to your destination. There also will be a link to all the exhibitors on the Official CoffeeFest link so you might be better served using that. You can also help our our outlet by visiting all of the social media profiles listed in our Official Linktree and clicking “Follow” or “Subscribe” on the ones that you are using. Social media remains a numbers game and without your assistance we are moved further back in the line. See you next time and thanks as always for spending a little time with us.
