The other day I attended a brand new convention that was being held at the Javits Center and called “Special Edition NYC”. It’s focus was on “Comics, Art, Culture” according to all the press copy and it was connected to the massive NY Comic Con under the direction of the folks at ReedPop. Since I was officially a part of the attending press, I covered the event over on PiercingMetal.com and you can see the chapters and all of the wonderful images that came along with it by clicking the logo right below.
I’m pretty excited because as I had previously noted on this blog, my PiercingMetal.com site is now being fully delivered in WordPress after over nine years of using a traditional static design with a side blog that was using the software. Going forward, the plan is to have everything that is presented on the two sides of PiercingMetal fall into the fresh installation. By the way, I’ve disabled the means to comment on this post and instead ask that if you’d like to add topical thoughts about the presentation that you please do so on any of the narratives you will see on PiercingMetal.com
Toy Fair 2014 Is Here & I Am Sooooooo Excited!!!! Can you tell? This marks my fourth year of being accredited press for the massive event and it never ceases to interest and amaze me. I’ll be heading over to the Javits Center with my good buddy Skeleton Pete for the full run of four days and I expect to return with tons of photos and insight about the coolness that is coming for you collectors and hobbyists. I suggest you get your wallets ready and set to “spend”.
This is just a little notation post to say “away from my desk” for the duration but don’t worry I will be back as soon as possible with items to share here and over on the Official Blog for PiercingMetal.com – If you’re new to our Internet presentations you might want to visit some of the past coverage of the events over the years by clicking HERE. Of course we never mind you diehard readers reflecting on it all either. This year’s Toy Fair coverage will be presented on the PiercingMetal.com site and you can check out all of the narratives by using this link to the tag http://piercingmetal.com/tag/toy-fair-2014/ Depending on when you click this, you might see more posts a few days later from this actually signpost narrative because I have plenty of things to share with you that will be presented over time.
Hey there my fine readers, I just wanted to take a moment of your time and share the news that I recently was in attendance at the Book Expo America convention for this year and have posted my coverage on the PiercingMetal.com site. New readers might not be aware of this but its a semi-regular practice of mine to showcase some of the diverse adventures on my main website right here with little traffic signs. That said, just click the logo below to be taken to my overview of that event. I went on a couple of days.

A few days ago I had the pleasure of attending the 110th Annual Toy Fair or Toy Fair 2013 as many referred to it. This time around I decided to space out my postings as opposed to doing several days of continued blogs that finish in one single week. With many of the items not being readily available it made more sense and if you click the photo below you will be magically transported to the available run of them. This is my third year straight attending as a member of the press and I am all the more excited about going. I’ll be joined by Skeleton Pete once again and he will be dishing out the narratives and views on his own site so be sure to hit his link on the bottom of our website and show him some love. Have fun with the series, I know I had fun putting all of this together.

Hold my calls my friends because I am unreachable for the next couple of days and heading over to the NY Comic Con that is being held at the Jacob Javits Center. This will mark my third year attending the event as a member of the accredited press and while I shall be reporting on the proceedings for my PiercingMetal brand, I did want to put a little signpost here for you to examine my adventures as they get posted up on that site. You’ll need to click on the logo below to be brought to those posts and depending on when you do that will show posts as they have been added. If you’ve seen our other adventures at this fun event you know I do multiple posts across the span of days. Stay tuned for the whole batch. I’ve disabled the means to comment on this post since its nothing more than a signpost. You can leave any topical thoughts on any chapter that you are compelled to.
UPDATE: 10/14/2012: Okay we are back from the four days of adventure and to make it super simple for you to enjoy those photos and thoughts about the event, all you need to do is click the logo right above this paragraph. It will take you to the starter story which serves as my overview. From there the blog chapters are but a click away. Sounds like work, but trust me it makes proper sense when done like in this manner. Thanks for listening and now back to the sharing of whatever else I feel like in this blog 🙂
