I'm a Freelance Music Photojournalist from NYC and Founder of the Heavy Metal website PiercingMetal.com; I created this blog site to showcase the other things in life that keep my interest or catch my attention. Believe me that is a lot of stuff to talk about when it comes down to it. I hope you enjoy what we are delivering because there is so much to share as a resident of this bustling metropolis.

Announcing The Winners Of The 2019 Bit Awards

The Press Release:
The 3rd Annual Bit Awards presented by Playcrafting was a night to remember! On Friday, February 1st, hundreds of game developers and enthusiasts from across the country convened at Parsons The New School of Design in New York to see who would bring home the hardware and honor those who have moved the gaming community forward at the Big Apple’s most diverse and interactive celebration of rising game developers.

Our host, actress and producer Carolina Ravassa, kicked off the celebration by reminding the audience of the transformative power of games, and welcomed some of the biggest names in gaming, such as The Polygon Show hosts Chelsea Stark, Ashley Oh, Simone de Rochefort and Allegra Frank, massive streamer swiftor, Francesco Antolini and Omar Shakir from Avalanche Sweden’s NYC studio, as they introduced this year’s Bit Awards winners and honorees.

2019 Grammy Awards Full Winners Rundown

grammy awards logo

The Recording Industry calls this the “Biggest Night In Music” for the year and to fans of some genres out there this is probably true. As a tried and true supporter of Metal and Rock, this is generally a disappointment but that is a matter discussed over on the PiercingMetal.com website and not here on ”The Chronicles” since the audience is a lot more varied. The Grammy’s were given out over the course of the last few hours and I’ve been researching and typing to get them all to you shortly after the broadcast. I didn’t watch more than fifteen minutes of it since “The Walking Dead” was on and that’s more important to me. Also, the disrespect of Rock and Metal with their awards being announced and given out before the broadcast even aired found me discussing the matter on the Metal site on THIS POST so do please check that out if you are so inclined. This list is long so you’re going to want to get comfortable. Here we go.

Celebrate National Pizza Day 2019

Today is National Pizza Day my friends and I am here to help assist in regaling the glories of this delicious food item. I’m sure you’ll agree that it’s one of the best creations to come to be and without question it remains one of my very favorite things to eat. Living in Brooklyn is awesome based on just how many quality pizzerias there are to choose from which bring to mind our featured photo that I am sharing from our Official Instagram.

About The Photo: This photo was actually shot this past Wednesday when I had an event to attend at Saint Vitus Bar in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Every time that I am in Greenpoint, I try to make a stop at the nearby Triangolo Pizza shop as its only a few blocks away from the venue. It’s generally a good idea since these events often lead to consuming a few beers but on this particular night I was just hungry. I took my bite and realized that I needed a photo for Yelp and Swarm and of course Instagram so I snapped this one late but not too late as you can see. I actually wasn’t planning on eating pizza today at all since I’ve not only had a lot of it recently but I’ve also made a lot of it when I didn’t feel like going out. I also had leftover Chinese Food that I needed to use before it went bad as I hate wasting food.

Will you be enjoying a slice or two at your friendly neighborhood pizza shop? As a New Yorker, I’d be interested in knowing where you go and what you think of them since I can use the information as recon. Of course you out of town readers can give a shout out to your favorite pizzeria in your locality as well. I have to think that they’d like the free promotion. See you next time.
