You know her name from being one of the most visible people in the universe and now Kim Kardashian is the lead in a new legal drama series that will stream on the Hulu service this Fall. Fans of Kim’s from all of the “Keeping Up with” shows and TMZ might already know that she is planning on taking the California Bar Exam in the coming months. Until that time she is only portraying a legal eagle on this series and the teaser trailer has just recently dropped.
The Premise: Follows a successful divorce lawyer and the owner of an all-female law firm in Los Angeles. A team of female divorce attorneys leave a male-dominated firm to open their own powerhouse practice. Fierce, brilliant, and emotionally complicated, they navigate high-stakes breakups, scandalous secrets, and shifting allegiances—both in the courtroom and within their own ranks. Piercing Ken Thoughts: The teaser clip was intriguing but I’ve not been a follower of any of the legal dramas since “Boston Legal” and dare I say “LA Law”. The starring cast was so notable that I couldn’t resist sharing it with our readers since it will likely generate some great Google traction and we always love that. From the trailer I get the vibe that its a show that feels more along the lines of “hey you’re a man so you suck” and I can’t subscribe to that stuff since I am and well, I don’t. Maybe I’m wrong so I’ll hold the solid judgement for the longer trailer which I guess will come closer to release time. What about you out there in the readership?
