There’s been a common theme with some of the television shows of late and that’s been a continuation of the series idea many years later. We saw this with “Full House”, “Roseanne” before it became “The Connors” and its been reported that a continuation of the classic “Frasier” is coming down the pike in the near future. One series I never expected to see doing this was “Night Court” which was a true favorite of mine when it aired in the eighties but here we are with the first Official Trailer for the NBC series “Night Court”.

The Premise: Follows judge Abby Stone, as she presides over the night shift of a Manhattan arraignment court and tries to bring order to its crew.

The Cast/Characters:
Melissa Rauch as Abby Stone
John Larroquette as Dan Fielding
India de Beaufort as Olivia
Kapil Talwalkar as Neil
Lacretta as Donna “Gurgs” Gurganous

Piercing Ken Thoughts: Now before I toss my thoughts into the mix let’s raise a glass to those who helped keep us in stitches from the original series like Selma Diamond (Selma), Florence Halop (Flo), Charles Robinson (Mac), Markie Post (Christine) and of course Harry Anderson (Judge Harry Stone). To continue on without the last two is surely going to be hard but I really like Melissa Rauch from her tenure on “The Big Bang Theory” and like the premise of her being the daughter of Stone. I will be programming this one into the DVR for sure and hope that it does well. What do you readers think about this revisit to a classic series? Will you also be watching? Chime in down below in the comments section and I will see you next time. Please keep safe out there.
