As we’ve said on a couple of other television posts over the last year or so, redo’s or continuations of shows that were once a blockbuster success is nothing new anymore. It was about a year ago that “Night Court” returned with a new cast that continued the antics of the original show while “Quantum Leap” continued the time-travelling missions that Sam Beckett did. Now it’s time to do a continuation of the world of “Frasier”, the show that starred Kelsey Grammar and was a must watch program week after week. The Official Trailer has dropped and I’m sharing this down below for your consumption. Take a look, as there is also a light premise and casting as well.

The Premise: Frasier is off to a different city with new challenges to face, new relationships to forge, and an old dream or two to finally fulfill. Frasier has re-entered the building.

The Cast and Characters:
Kelsey Grammer as Frasier Crane
Nicholas Lyndhurst as Alan Cornwall
Jack Cutmore-Scott as Frederick “Freddy” Crane
Anders Keith as David Crane
Jess Salgueiro as Eve
Toks Olagundoye as Olivia
Bebe Neuwirth as Lilith Sternin
Peri Gilpin as Roz Doyle

Piercing Ken Thoughts: I loved the “Frasier” show and actually just recently finished rewatching the original series on another streaming service. Currently I don’t have Paramount+ but was planning on resubscribing so I can catch up on some of the “Star Trek” stuff that I am behind on and maybe after “Frasier” has a few episodes in I will do that. At the time of this trailer reveal, I am unsure if the chance to watch this on traditional network television will be an option or not. So I will admit that I enjoyed the trailer and have some hopes for the series. I felt the same about the new “Night Court” but I am not finding this one to be all that funny. I also only like half of that shows cast and think that one is not long for the airwaves or streaming services. Let’s hope the interest in “Frasier” 2023 is a bit louder in voice and that the show delivers. I’ll keep tabs on this one for good measure and will likely return on the day it premieres. See you next time.
