It was only a few minutes ago that the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards completed their annual awards broadcast. This year’s show was originally supposed to take place at the Barclays Center but resultant of the still quite problematic Coronavirus, was instead held at assorted locations across the city. Many segments were filmed earlier to make the production a bit easier to tie together and it was hosted by Keke Palmer. I breezed through the broadcast after programming the DVR since its mostly music I am not listening to as I’m more a Heavy Metal and Hard Rock enthusiast. Those two genres were not represented at all. Here are the winners of this years VMA’s.

Piercing Ken Thoughts: So there you have it. This year it seems like Lady Gaga took home the most statues from the tally above. I didn’t really watch the show as much as zipping through it to populate the winning artists. As I did zip through I got a bit nostalgic for the MTV that I used to love and tune into each and every day. That sure does seem like a long time ago based on how much the network and its programming has changed.
