Hello again my convention road warriors and welcome back to my continued documentation of the New York International Auto Show which was taking over the Javits Center. The previous links can be found HERE and Parts 1 through 5 were from the Media and Industry Day. The fine folks in their media command offer attending press a courtesy pass to return when the general public does and while this event has been running for a few days we like to come back to see what its like as it heads towards its closure. Most of the images come from “The Dub Show Tour” which is super-powered hot rods, a return to the floor for some favorites and to see some of the vendor space that gets set up in the upstairs area. Since this will be the final weekend, I am rushing out this first of a couple of chapters so the interested can get a move on. Let’s continue along.
They are the law!!! Pardon my bite of a Judge Dredd statement but here are the brave men and women of the State and Local Police forces. I only snapped pictures of their vehicles but made sure to chat with their officers for a few minutes.
I feel you T-Mobile Teddy Bear, I’m pretty beat too.
The next photo shows a couple of the goodies that I was able to take home with me such as the Geico Gecko plush and my LEGO mini-figure which actually slightly resembles me when I had more hair and if I was in a race car driver tracksuit.
That’s going to bring me to the end of this installment which pretty much finishes up the conventional coverage of the event.
