To make it easier to see who was beaten in the assorted categories I’ve left the nominees in the rundown as well. The bolded and highlighted items are your winners. Have at it.

It was only about an hour or so ago that the 71st Annual Emmy Awards were given out and while I had wanted to do more of a live tweet and updating to be different, I forgot that I had the Stone Temple Pilots concert to cover in Coney Island for my PiercingMetal website. Once it was over I bolted home to cobble together a plain old conventional website post with the rundown of the winners. It will have to do so let’s take a look at who brought home the trophies. The show had no “official” host and had a side commentary by comedian Thomas Lennon and I was split 50/50 on this. I found some of the snarky comments made me laugh but also many left me saying “this isn’t working”. Here now are the winners.
Outstanding Drama Series:
Better Call Saul
Bodyguard WINNER: Game of Thrones
This Is Us
Hey friends, so as I’ve previously announced, I was going to be exploring the vast wonders that is the Tribeca Film Festival and while there are a ton of interesting films to check out, there are a score of other things to examine. One of them was this “Game Of Thrones” centric VR experience called “The Dead Must Die”. Take a look at the description and some images that my friend Dani from Royal Flush took when I was giving it a once over.
About The Experience: The VR encounter is called ““The Dead Must Die: A Magic Leap Encounter” and its a collaboration between the folks at Magic Leap and HBO. It’s an “immersive encounter” that uses a device called the Magic Leap One headset. Wearing this will bring the wearer into a “confrontation” with the wights themselves and it all culminates with a showdown with a White Walker.
Nabsico’s Oreo cookie is arguably the worlds most popular and most often copied treat and now in honor of the upcoming final season of the HBO Original Series “Game Of Thrones”, there is a specialized version of the cookie that will be available starting tomorrow. Let’s take a moment to enjoy the fun trailer that was done to celebrate this tasty item.
Piercing Ken Thoughts: Readers of my PiercingMetal website know that the series returns on Sunday, April 14th and if you have not yet seen the trailer that we posted please click HERE to be on point. Here at the Media Command HQ of “The Chronicles”, we just love everything about the Oreo Cookie and sometimes around the holidays we love it a little too much and need to pace ourselves in the following weeks or risk going up another belt size. I love that they teamed up with the show creators to unveil this sure to be tasty treat and they will surely be flying off the shelves during the time that they are available so get to your market quick and ask the staff to secure a couple of packages for you. I’m hoping to secure one myself but only to sample a few of them before sharing along. Summer is around the corner I want to lose a few pounds. As I close up I am thinking that the branding for the upcoming season in terms of this product will not be #ForTheThrone but instead should be change to #ForTheCookie – What say you? Chime in down below in the comments.
Last night, the NBC network aired the 70th Primetime Emmy Awards and this show was dishing out the statue for the most honored television shows and the people that helped make them happen. The hosts for the broadcast were Michael Che and Colin Jost. Let’s take a look at the winners across all categories to see if something you watched won the prize.
