We have arrived my friends. The culmination of some “22” Marvel Studios films has all led us to this moment and “Avengers: Endgame” will be playing EVERYWHERE starting today. Some folks saw the late night advance viewing last night so I hope they are mindful of spoiling it for the rest of us. I’ve been discussing the film a lot on my PiercingMetal website and a number of trailers and other treats can be explored over there by clicking HERE. Now let’s review the Official Poster, premise and casting of this sure to be monumental release.

As you know, we post a LOT of film content here on “The Chronicles” and sometimes I will defer you to my PiercingMetal.com website while at other times will do the same post. Today we use the same post with a little creative editing because this kind of film is just too good for web traffic which is always something we want happening. Here we go with the thoughts that I ran over there a short time ago. Good morning my friends, as you read this, the recently opened “Captain Marvel” film has achieved a worldwide box office take of $524 million dollars. As you know, the character is going to be a pivotal component in the next chapter which happens during “Avengers: Endgame” which makes me stoked to have found a brand-new trailer being revealed only minutes ago. Let’s take a look but put the coffee down before you watch. Trust me. After this you can enjoy the expansive cast, revealed premise and the Official Theatrical poster.

Walt Disney Pictures: “Avengers: Endgame” Official Trailer (5/3/2019)

We have arrived at the first Official Trailer for the now titled sequel to “Avengers: Infinity War” which is “Avengers: Endgame” and I love that as the films title. This is the one for all the marbles and to hopefully fix as much of the damage caused by Thanos when he snapped his fingers while wearing the fully loaded Infinity Gauntlet. Let’s take a look.

The Cast/Characters:
Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man
Chris Hemsworth as Thor
Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/Hulk
Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/Captain America
Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow
Benedict Cumberbatch as Dr. Stephen Strange
Don Cheadle as James “Rhodey” Rhodes/War Machine
Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man
Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa/Black Panther
Paul Bettany as Vision
Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch
Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson/Falcon
Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier
Tom Hiddleston as Loki
Benedict Wong as Wong
Pom Klementieff as Mantis
Karen Gillan as Nebula
Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer
Zoe Saldana as Gamora
Bradley Cooper as Rocket
Gwyneth Paltrow as Virginia “Pepper” Potts
Josh Brolin as Thanos
Chris Pratt as Peter Quill/Star-Lord
Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton/Hawkeye
Evangeline Lilly as Hope van Dyne/Wasp
Jon Favreau as Harold “Happy” Hogan
Paul Rudd as Scott Lang/Ant-Man
Brie Larson as Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel
Frank Grillo reprises his role as Brock Rumlow/Crossbones
Letitia Wright reprises her role as T’Challa’s sister Shuri
Hiroyuki Sanada and Katherine Langford have been cast in undisclosed roles
Stan Lee has a cameo in the film

PiercingMetal Thoughts: This was a seriously somber trailer and didn’t show too much action as much as it showed the characters dealing with the outcome from the preceding film. As you can see by the casting, just about everyone is going to be in this film and that makes me really excited for the promotional posters to come since I always share those. It was interesting to not see Captain Marvel at all in this first clip since we know she is a part of the solution and if you missed our showcase of that second trailer just click HERE to be up to date. I’ll close up by asking what you think about this and you can share your thoughts down in the comments below.

Opening: “Ant-Man & The Wasp” in Theaters Everywhere (7/6/2018)

Hey readers, I hope you had an enjoyable Fourth Of July weekend. Now that the holiday weekend is past us, its time to get small again and I mean down to Ant-Man size as the sequel to his film opens today with “Ant-Man and The Wasp”. As you might already know, he was not a part of the recent “Avengers: Infinity War” which means that film took place AFTER the events that we shall be enjoying in this feature. Let’s get a look at the theatrical release poster, premise and casting to gear you up and in case you missed them on the racks, its still probably possible to get your hands on the issues of the “Ant-Man and The Wasp” themed True Believers comics from Marvel. Just ask your local retailer about them and use THIS POST as a guideline.

The Premise:
Set after the events of Captain America: Civil War, Scott Lang tries to balance his home life as a father with his responsibilities as Ant-Man, when Hope van Dyne and Hank Pym present him with a new mission to bring to light secrets from their past, requiring him to team up with van Dyne as the new Wasp.

Marvel Studios: “Ant-Man and The Wasp” Official Trailer #2 (7/2018)

Before I begin this one, I am going to let you know that I will occasionally be mirroring the same post that will be broadcast over on PiercingMetal when it comes to the Marvel Studios and Warner Brothers hero stuff. Here we go with one such post. I’ve been on a bit of a social media and Internet silence since the opening of “Avengers: Infinity War” because I didn’t want any of the film spoiled on me but as you are reading this, I am just now home from seeing it and all I can say is “HOLY WOWZAWOW”. It was awesome, but its rather long. You must go to see it ASAP because so many people are talking about it and I don’t want anyone to miss key points. This film has already made over $725 million dollars and it only opened last Friday. As I returned to my home I was overjoyed to learn that the latest trailer for the upcoming “Ant Man and The Wasp” film was available to share with you so here we go.
