Opening: “Ant-Man & The Wasp” in Theaters Everywhere (7/6/2018)

Hey readers, I hope you had an enjoyable Fourth Of July weekend. Now that the holiday weekend is past us, its time to get small again and I mean down to Ant-Man size as the sequel to his film opens today with “Ant-Man and The Wasp”. As you might already know, he was not a part of the recent “Avengers: Infinity War” which means that film took place AFTER the events that we shall be enjoying in this feature. Let’s get a look at the theatrical release poster, premise and casting to gear you up and in case you missed them on the racks, its still probably possible to get your hands on the issues of the “Ant-Man and The Wasp” themed True Believers comics from Marvel. Just ask your local retailer about them and use THIS POST as a guideline.

The Premise:
Set after the events of Captain America: Civil War, Scott Lang tries to balance his home life as a father with his responsibilities as Ant-Man, when Hope van Dyne and Hank Pym present him with a new mission to bring to light secrets from their past, requiring him to team up with van Dyne as the new Wasp.

Opening: “Incredibles 2” in Theaters Everywhere (6/15/2018)

As a card-carrying fan of the superhero genre along with comic books and the films that come out to showcase them to the world, I was a big fan of Disney’s “The Incredibles” from 2004. The popularity of the film makes me a little surprised that it took until 2018 to deliver a sequel but here we are as the film opens today in theaters everywhere. I showcased the trailer over on PiercingMetal.com and if you didn’t see it yet please click HERE. Below you will find the theatrical poster, premise and casting.

The Plot: Incredibles 2 resumes where The Incredibles ends, with the introduction of the villain The Underminer. The Parr family struggles to maintain normal lives while Helen, as Elastigirl, continues to fight crime and campaign for the return of “supers”; while Bob, also known as Mr. Incredible, stays at home caring for their children Violet, Dash and Jack-Jack, discovering the baby’s secret powers in the process. Also, the Parrs and their ally Frozone find they must battle a new villain, who goes by the name of Screenslaver.
