Walt Disney Pictures “Mulan” TV Spots and Featurettes

Back in December, the fine folks over at the House Of Mouse delivered the Official Trailer for the upcoming live-action feature “Mulan”. I shared that with our readers in a post that can be found HERE. With the film opening up in March, part of me feels as though another full-on trailer or two is coming down the pike since it looks like they invested a lot in this film. The other day, I noticed that the TV Spots began being featured and I’ve opted to share them with you in a single succinct post. As any of these manifest they will be edited into this narrative. I found that this worked out well for stories where a lot of TV Spots end up coming to light. Readers of my PiercingMetal.com film narratives have already seen how this works out based on “Kong: Skull Island”, “Avengers: Endgame” and of course “Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker”. For this missive, I am starting off with the teaser poster and premise. The clips will flow right after. Enjoy.

The Plot: When the Emperor of China issues a decree that one man per family must serve in the Imperial Army to defend the country from Northern invaders attacking China, Hua Mulan, the eldest daughter of an honored warrior, steps in to take the place of her ailing father. She is spirited, determined and quick on her feet. Masquerading as a man, Hua Jun, she is tested every step of the way and must harness her inner-strength and embrace her true potential. It is an epic journey that will transform her into not only an honored warrior, but one of China’s greatest warriors ever and earn her the respect of a grateful nation…and a proud father.

Piercing Ken Thoughts: Much like my promotional posters narratives, I seldom add much to the mix when it comes to the TV Spots because they end up being a running sort of edit. As you see or will see, a number of dates are edited into this post past the original publishing date and we do it like this based on the amount of time we have to offer it up. I’ll say in advance that I do hope you enjoyed them all and that you should stay tuned to this film topic for the eventual final trailer, posters and opening day posts. Readers are most welcome to chime in with their thoughts on this if they have any. See you next time.
