The Press Release:
Affordable Art Fair New York City is thrilled to welcome visitors this fall, from September 17–21, 2025, to the Starrett-Lehigh Building in the heart of Chelsea. Bringing together over 75 local, national, and international galleries, this edition promises an exciting mix of new programming, celebrated favorite artists and galleries, and thousands of original contemporary artworks, all at accessible price points, as always.
Visitors will experience an inspiring and welcoming atmosphere where they can browse a diverse range of paintings, sculptures, photographs, and prints by more than 400 established and emerging artists. With prices ranging from $100 to $12,000, there’s something for everyone, from first-time art buyers to seasoned collectors.
A highlight of the fall edition is the return of the Affordable Art Fair Fellowship Program, now in its third year. This initiative invites emerging galleries and organizations to submit curatorial proposals to exhibit in a dedicated Fellowship Booth, complimentary for three editions of the fair. Selected fellows receive full support, including resources, mentorship, and underwriting, offering an opportunity to grow their audiences and artists without many barriers to entry.
Affordable Art Fair New York City is also proud to continue its tradition of presenting Wonders Under $1,000, a specially curated wall featuring artworks priced under $1,000. It’s an ideal entry point for new collectors and a great way to begin visitors’ journey through the fair.
Whether you’re spending a family day out or enjoying an evening with friends, there’s no better place to discover art you love, and take it home, than at Affordable Art Fair New York City, now even deeper in Chelsea this edition.

Piercing Ken Thoughts: It’s without a doubt that I really love the Affordable Art Fair and they were actually the very first event of this kind that I began to adventure to and explore for “The Chronicles”. While I’ve always loved art and sculpture, I am surely green when it comes to exploring such a fair as opposed to appreciating art inside the confines of a museum. As a matter of fact, when “The Chronicles” began to record video chats with artists it was done at the Affordable Art Fair over at the Metropolitan Pavilion. While the press release doesn’t mention this, I would imagine that the fair will be located at Starrett-Lehigh going forward and having attended the Shoppe Object here back in the winter, I can say that its a much larger space. It will be interesting to see how its laid out for Affordable Art Fair from Shoppe Object but I think overall it will be a great experience. There was a cafe down in the lobby and I remember a WiFi feed as well which is always a plus for me. I’m hoping to attend the Fall Fair if my schedule permits because there are a lot of artists and gallerists that I’ve connected with over the years and look forward to seeing when the show returns. While I’d love to know your thoughts about this press release and their move announcement, I’m going to also share a link to my interviews that have been done at the fair over the years. Doing these chats with artists and gallery owners and staff made me glad that I finally pulled the trigger on a Piercing Ken YouTube Channel and those videos can be enjoyed by clicking HERE. There is more to come along those lines so please be a kind supporter and give that Channel a subscribe. That’s all I’ve got for now, so I will see you again soon. Take good care of yourself and each other.
