As a long time fan of the “Toy Story” original film and its sequels and yes the subsequent toy lines I have to say that I am very excited about the opening of the brand-new Disney/Pixar film “Lightyear” which takes us back in time to the origins of the man who eventually inspired a toy. The film opens today and we’ve already shared the Teaser Trailer and the Official Trailer in other narratives which you can peruse by clicking the hyperlinked text. To round this out properly I’ve got some new art, the basic premise and of course the voice casting. To infinity and beyond!!!! Let’s go.

Presenting The 75th Annual Tony Awards Winners

The time is now my friends and it’s truly Broadway’s Biggest Night as the 75th Annual Tony Awards winners were recently given their trophies for excellence in theatre. I don’t think I have to state the obvious but this pandemic was a hard hit to the world of Broadway shows. Live theatre was put on hold back in March of 2020 and wouldn’t return until September of 2021 which is about 18 months dark. Let’s remember that this is more than the shows and the actors playing all the roles. It’s the musicians, its the stagehards and the assorted front of house staff and all those behind the scenes. The pandemic created COVID safety teams which I even participated in once the re-opening happened and when that return was in play, it was a wonderful thing to behold. So I casually watched the broadcast to catch the announcements and will be watching in full tomorrow since its a slower day for me. The main host of the show was Ariana DeBose and here now are your winners for the 75th Annual Tony Awards.
