The Travel & Adventure Show for 2026 is closing in on New York City and will present its fourth annual convention at the Javits Center. Earlier today, I was confirmed to attend and am excited to share our approval notice for “The Chronicles of Piercing Ken” that is presented down below.
“We received your media registration for the New York Travel & Adventure Show taking place January 24-25 at the Jacob Javits Center. This email acts as your confirmation, upon arrival you can check-in at the “Press Check In” area and collect your credentials. Your credentials are valid for both Saturday and Sunday and you are welcome to bring a guest with you”.
Some of you might remember that “The Chronicles” used to attend the now sunset New York Times Travel Show and enjoyed it very much. Since 2022, the Travel & Adventure Show has been bringing a similar vibe to New York City and I’ve attended on a couple of occasions as both Media and as a civilian. Truth be told I don’t really get to travel all that much outside of southern jaunts to see my relatives but that is okay. I remain hopeful to one day visit places like Japan, Finland, England and maybe even Hawaii. This show helps those who have the extra scratch and time to do so, sort out their plans while the rest of us back home watch them on The Gram. My thinking is that I will be attending on the Sunday despite having two days full access and that is based on it being run in tandem with the New York Boat Show and the offsite BroadwayCon. At the time of this writing I am still awaiting clearance for both of these events but will for sure let you know the scoop if and when that changes.
