While we love showcasing the trailers for the upcoming family films here on “The Chronicles”, I had to admit a slight bit of surprise at the notion that this next Dreamworks TV release “Trolls World Tour” will not be coming out for another nine months or so. Anyway, that being said please enjoy the recently released trailer for the film. I’ve also included the premise and the ensemble voices that make up the cast. Enjoy.

Synopsis: After the events of the first film, Poppy and Branch discover that they are six other different kinds of Trolls scattered over six different lands, each devoted to a different form of music: Pop, Funk, Classical, Techno, Country and Rock. Their world is about to get a lot bigger, and a whole lot louder, as member of hard-rock royalty, Queen Barb, aided by her father King Thrash, wants to destroy all other kinds of music to let rock reign supreme. With the fate of the world at stake, Poppy and Branch, along with their friends — Smidge, Legsly, Biggie, Satin and Chenille, Cooper, Guy Diamond and Tiny Diamond — set out to visit all the other lands to unify the Trolls in harmony against Barb, who’s looking to upstage them all and turn them into rock zombies. Meanwhile, Branch tries to find a way to tell Poppy how he feels about her.

Piercing Ken Thoughts: I’ve mentioned before that we seldom end up seeing the more family friendly films with the crop of Super-hero and Science-Fiction releases that are being contended with over on PiercingMetal but I did think that this one looked cute. Of course, as a tried and true Metalhead, I am not too sure that I like Hard Rock music being the source of villainy but oh well. Considering the level of big names in the voice-cast, I will very likely be keeping tabs on this release since there have to be additional trailers and features coming. Part of me wonders which toy company will be handling this one as I can see the toys and collectibles doing really well. Closing up I wonder what you readers think about this one and do you foresee it being something that your little ones might enjoy. Chime in down below in the comments section. See you next time.
