We’ve already pointed out that the rigins of the play “In The Heights” go back as far as 1999, and it finally got a trailer clip which we helped to broadcast back in 2019 which many of us refer to as “The Before Times” based on how many things were pushed back based on the pandemic. If you didn’t see that post click HERE to be up to speed. Now it’s time to enjoy a brand-new trailer which is listed as the “Powerful” Trailer. Enjoy.

Storyline: “Lights up on Washington Heights… The scent of a cafecito caliente hangs in the air just outside of the 181st Street subway stop, where a kaleidoscope of dreams rallies this vibrant and tight-knit community. Now Streaming: “Hamilton” on Disney+ (7/3/2020)

So it’s without question that the Broadway production of “Hamilton” is a blockbuster among blockbusters and if you are someone that can get a ticket you are in a very small minority since its one of those things that is next to impossible to do. It’s also a very pricey affair when it all adds up for the night out. Now, Disney was originally planning on releasing a big screen motion picture of the play with its most famous cast at some time in 2021 but with the Coronavirus cancelling pretty much everything that people were doing the idea to broadcast this on Disney+ was determined to be the best option. The play has been a record-breaking affair since opening and has won “11” Tony Awards. If you missed our post about the trailer then just click HERE to see it and now it’s time to share that if you are a paid subscriber to Disney+ that this film is now available to stream on the device of your choice. Disney+ Presents: “Hamilton” Official Trailer

As you all are probably aware by now, Broadway is on hiatus for the time-being based on the effects of the still in progress Coronavirus Pandemic. Recent reports say that its likely not to return until Winter when the year turns over but some even have pushed this as far as Spring 2021. One of the hottest plays currently on the stage is Lin-Manuel Miranda’s “Hamilton”. The play has been a blockbuster since opening and has won “11” Tony Awards. It was set to open in theaters everywhere sometime in 2021 but with the virus causing so many shows and events to be cancelled or postponed until indeterminate dates, the decision was made to stream this on Disney+ beginning on July 3rd. The trailer was recently released so let’s check that out along with the premise, casting and the official poster.

Now In Theaters: “Trolls World Tour” (4/10/2020)

We’ve discussed the new film “Trolls World Tour” a few times already on “The Chronicles” and shared not only some fun trailers but a bevy of promotional posters. Clicking HERE will scan the website for the tag relating to the film and open your findings on a brand-new tab in your browser for easier digestion of this content. So despite the world having changed around us over the last few weeks, this film is opening in limited theaters only AND being made available for digital rental today as well. The latter option makes more sense to be under the circumstances but either way today is the release day and you can enjoy the poster, premise and ensemble voice-cast down below.

Synopsis: After the events of the first film, Poppy and Branch discover that they are six other different kinds of Trolls scattered over six different lands, each devoted to a different form of music: Pop, Funk, Classical, Techno, Country and Rock. Their world is about to get a lot bigger, and a whole lot louder, as member of hard-rock royalty, Queen Barb, aided by her father King Thrash, wants to destroy all other kinds of music to let rock reign supreme. With the fate of the world at stake, Poppy and Branch, along with their friends — Smidge, Legsly, Biggie, Satin and Chenille, Cooper, Guy Diamond and Tiny Diamond — set out to visit all the other lands to unify the Trolls in harmony against Barb, who’s looking to upstage them all and turn them into rock zombies. Hey there my friends, I am back once more with a third trailer for the upcoming Dreamworks TV animated feature “Trolls World Tour”.
