OZY Media announced today that their flagship festival experience OZY Fest will be returning to New York City for a one-day event on July 25, 2020. The event will take place on the Great Lawn in Central Park that serves as the heart of the city. Tickets for the event are available now.
Headliners confirmed for this year include musician Miguel, TV personalities Tan France and Karamo Brown, comedians Dulcé Sloan and Tig Notaro, politicians Andrew Yang, Dan Crenshaw, Julián Castro and John Kasich, and chef Marcus Samuelsson, as well as activist Gloria Steinem, author Chelsea Clinton, actress Jameela Jamil, and sports stars Baker Mayfield, Amy Purdy and Alex Rodriguez. Additional artists and personalities to be announced in the coming weeks.
“OZY Fest is the IRL actualization of all that is OZY, think TED meets Coachella,” said Carlos Watson, CEO and co-founder of OZY Media. “Our goal is to bring culture to life for a day and inspire curiosity in everyone so they can engage more fully with the world around them.”
OZY Fest brings culture to life through cutting-edge music, comedy, conversation and food and tackles such topics as politics, gender equality, sports, music and business. With 50 performers and speakers, 4 stages – music/comedy, thought leadership, food/film, and experiences, food from more than a dozen countries and interactive experiences, OZY Fest offers something for everyone.
The event is hosted by OZY Media and is produced by Superfly. Event sponsors include Ally Financial, Hulu, American Family Insurance in partnership with Mindshare, JPMorgan Chase and Cariuma. Media partners include CNBC, iHeartMedia and BuzzFeed.

Piercing Ken Thoughts: Last year this event was cancelled due to the insane heatwave that had hit NYC. I had a conflict in my schedule with something in one of the big hotels but it was actually more than 110 degrees for three days straight and it being outside felt like being on the surface of the sun. This year if my schedule is open I might try to attend for “The Chronicles” and will make my plans known closer to the actual event via our social networks of Facebook and Twitter.
