Greetings readers and welcome to a brand-new summary rundown in our set of Awards Show postings. For the last couple of years I’ve been not only posting about the biggest of them all but also some of the more niche presentations. This year marks the first time that I am adding the Gotham Awards to the mix. Truth be told we seldom see any of the kinds of films that are honored at the Gotham Independent Film Awards but we do so like to showcase the nominations and the winners circle of presentations to generate your own interest. *** end of rundown ***

Piercing Ken Thoughts: I read the list twice to make sure that I really didn’t actually see any of these films and it looks like I didn’t. Mind you I don’t fault these kinds of things but my interests lie in the more comic book or science fiction realm nowadays. I need film to help me escape the real and not remind me of it. Anyway, that’s just me and I hope some of the releases that you liked have been nominated. I will return when they announce the winners so stay tuned for that and of course know that plenty of other things will be coming down the pike as we move into the final months of 2019. It’s been quite a fun year hasn’t it. See you soon, thanks for reading.
