Back in May I shared the teaser trailer for the upcoming Disney feature “Maleficent: Mistress Of Evil” which you can examine HERE if you are so inclined. With that post I pointed out that sequels no longer surprise me and since I did enjoy the first film, I was definitely curious to see how a chapter two might work out. Earlier today, the fine folks at the House Of Mouse delivered the first Official Trailer and you may peruse it down below along with the premise, casting and some additional poster visuals.

The Synopsis: A fantasy adventure that picks up several years after Maleficent, in which audiences learned of the events that hardened the heart of Disney’s most notorious villain and drove her to curse a baby Princess Aurora, Maleficent II continues to explore the complex relationship between the horned fairy and the soon to be Queen, as they form new alliances and face new adversaries in their struggle to protect the moors and the magical creatures that reside within. Since sequels no longer really surprise me I’m going to leave it at that and especially since I really enjoyed the first “Maleficent” film and seeing Jolie in the role.
