Ducati North America Brings “9” New 2019 Motorcycles to NY Motorcycle Show

This coming weekend marks the return of the Progressive International Motorcycle Show which will take over the Javits Center for three days. Friday starts off with a Press Tour and I am happy to announce that “The Chronicles” of Piercing Ken will be in attendance as a member of the Lifestyle Media. I am rather excited since this is my first-ever motorcycle show and I will be going in a professional capacity. Just a short time ago, I received this mailer about the presentation by the Ducati North America people and I am excited to share their news with you down below. Dig in.

Attending “Black Tie, Black Leather” at Harley-Davidson of NYC (12/12/2013): Part 2

Hello my friends and welcome back. For those who are late to the program, this is the second chapter of a two part narrative discussing the recent “Black Tie, Black Leather” event that was held at Harley-Davidson of NYC. I had been fortunate that PiercingMetal was among the accredited press at the showroom for the unveiling of several new bikes and if you didn’t see the first chapter yet, please click HERE so you are up to speed and then come back and continue the journey with us. Skeleton Pete and I were having a blast exploring this event and now its time to get to the rest of the nights fun. Get your motor running.

I’m going to jump around a little bit in this post since its going to feature a whole gamut of items.  These looked like sturdy backpacks.

There were several awesome vendors in attendance at the party and attendees could sample the wonderful William Wolf bourbon.  I’m not really a spirits guy and I was loving this.  Of course this should only be enjoyed in moderation.

Attending “Black Tie, Black Leather” at Harley-Davidson of NYC (12/12/2013): Part 1

Just recently, PiercingMetal had the honor of being one of the accredited press at a grand event for the Harley-Davidson NYC showroom.  The event was called “Black Tie Black Leather” and would unveil several awesome new bikes and a bevy of accessories.  I donned my basic blacks and zipped up my leather MC jacket and headed into the mix with my good friend and occasional PiercingMetal contributor, “Skeleton Pete” Parrella.  With this being more of a lifestyle event than something Metal, I felt that the coverage of the event would fit in here the best so after you enjoy the amazing new logo for the brand and its location you will be taken on a very cool ride as I present you the bikes, the merchandise and the beautiful people all around me. Let’s roll…..

These bikes were stationed around the showroom main floor and could be seen from the outside streets of the Big Apple.  Those who had lined up to participate at the event were drooling at their overall beauty and power of machine.  I couldn’t blame them as they were fantastic looking.  I did my best to get a photograph of all of the bikes around the windows.

I Think I Found The Batcycle In Bay Ridge……

I know that the title just had to get your attention and find you shaking your head saying “what in the world is he going on about this time”. Well, I am serious my friends, I truly think that I have discovered a clandestinely placed Batcycle. Let me explain. So the powerful Hurricane Sandy was on its way to our fair metropolis and I received a call from my friend The Beehive Hairdresser. It seemed as though he was up for a wander around the realm to see if anything struck his writing fancy before the storm hit us and since I am always game for this kind of adventure I joined along without argument. We wandered about a bit and chanced upon this next visual. Yes, a motorcyle and its sidecar. Now since one does not often see this kind of thing during the normal course of the day in 2012 I was convinced – It was the Batcycle.

Now you will of course think me crazy by saying this, and I completely understand since there are no clear “bat markings” or gadgets around it. It looks like a very normal motorcyle and sidecar but lets be honest here. If you were Batman and wanted to hide this thing, where would you do it if the Batcave was no where near you. Well you hide it in plain sight of course. Done and done.

I’m not going to say exactly where this was found but it was in the relative vicinity of the fortified headquarters of the PiercingMetal Command HQ so don’t be surprised if you live around here should you see a certain Caped Crusader zipping by on matters of justice.

That’s all I have for now my friends. Keep rocking.
