The fine folks at Disney are always keeping busy it would seem and this year will not only see the release of a live-action version of “The Little Mermaid” in the theaters but a brand-new live-action telling of Peter Pan with “Peter Pan & Wendy”. The first teaser trailer just dropped and I’m sharing it down below for your review. I’ve added the premise, casting and some artwork as well. Take a look, I’ll be back at the close.

The Premise:
Wendy Darling, a young girl afraid to leave her childhood home behind, meets Peter Pan, a boy who can fly and refuses to grow up. Alongside her brothers, Michael and John, and a tiny fairy, Tinker Bell, she travels with Peter to the magical world of Neverland. There, Wendy encounters an evil pirate captain, Captain Hook, and embarks on a thrilling and dangerous adventure that will change her life forever.

Universal Pictures “Fast X” Official Trailer

The next chapter in the “Fast and The Furious” saga is coming from Universal Pictures with “Fast X”, the cleverly titled 10th chapter in the popular series. With so many of the geek films and shows being posted about on the PiercingMetal side of the fence, I’ve decided to post this one on here. Down after the trailer is a light premise and its star-studded cast and artwork. Enjoy.

The Premise: Dominic Toretto must protect his crew and family from Dante Reyes, the son of drug lord Hernan Reyes, seeking revenge for the loss of his family’s fortune from the heist in Rio de Janeiro.

United Artists Releasing Presents “Creed III” Official Trailer

Most of the friends of my vintage grew up with the “Rocky” franchise of films and many were excited about the story continuing with the offspring of the late great Apollo Creed with the “Creed” films. With the first two films doing good in the box office, MGM is offering up a third in “Creed III”. The first trailer for this 2023 release just dropped and I’m sharing this along with the premise, casting and artwork. Enjoy.

The Synopsis: Five years after Creed II, after dominating the boxing world, Adonis “Donnie” Creed has been thriving in both his career and family life. When a childhood friend and former boxing prodigy, Damian “Dame” Anderson, resurfaces after serving a long sentence in prison, he is eager to prove that he deserves his shot in the ring. Hello again my animated features loving friends, I am back once more on the topic of 20th Century Studios newest film “The Bob’s Burgers Movie” and before I get too into this I should address why I am using “The Chronicles” instead of PiercingMetal.com and the answer is very simply because I felt like it. Now being more serious the truth is that with SO MANY of the Marvel Studios television shows having to be featured along with the films and an over the top amount of comic book content I felt it was better to put this film over here. The Premise: The Belchers try to save the restaurant from closing as a sinkhole forms in front of it, while the kids try to solve a mystery that could save their family’s restaurant.

Disney – Pixar: “Lightyear” Official Trailer

It’s been about three months now since I first discussed the upcoming film “Lightyear” with the teaser trailer post found HERE. In that narrative I opined about most franchises getting a wayback machine kind of story as well and I will admit that it’s kinda cool to see something like this happening to the mega-popular “Toy Story” character Buzz Lightyear. Of course this is about the astronaut who inspired the toy action figure and now the Official Trailer for the summer Disney Pixar release is presented for your viewing pleasure below. I’ve also added an expanded voice cast and new poster art so bonus.

The Premise: The sci-fi action-adventure presents the definitive origin story of Buzz Lightyear—the hero who inspired the toy—introducing the legendary Space Ranger who would win generations of fans.
