As a long time fan of the “Toy Story” original film and its sequels and yes the subsequent toy lines I have to say that I am very excited about the opening of the brand-new Disney/Pixar film “Lightyear” which takes us back in time to the origins of the man who eventually inspired a toy. The film opens today and we’ve already shared the Teaser Trailer and the Official Trailer in other narratives which you can peruse by clicking the hyperlinked text. To round this out properly I’ve got some new art, the basic premise and of course the voice casting. To infinity and beyond!!!! Let’s go.

It’s been about three months now since I first discussed the upcoming film “Lightyear” with the teaser trailer post found HERE. In that narrative I opined about most franchises getting a wayback machine kind of story as well and I will admit that it’s kinda cool to see something like this happening to the mega-popular “Toy Story” character Buzz Lightyear. Of course this is about the astronaut who inspired the toy action figure and now the Official Trailer for the summer Disney Pixar release is presented for your viewing pleasure below. I’ve also added an expanded voice cast and new poster art so bonus.

Nowadays it seems as though every big franchise is getting some kind of prequel so why shold anything be different for one of the most popular characters in the Disney/Pixar family, the legendary Buzz Lightyear from the hit films “Toy Story”. Now Streaming: “Raya and The Last Dragon” on Disney+ (3/5/2021)

The latest Walt Disney Pictures animated feature is called “Raya and The Last Dragon” and it opens up today in select theaters AND on Disney+ as a part of their Premier Access. The Premise: Long ago, in the world of Kumandra, humans and dragons lived together in harmony. But when sinister monsters known as the Druun threatened the land, the dragons sacrificed themselves to save humanity. Now, 500 years later, those same monsters have returned and it’s up to a lone warrior, Raya, and her pet pill bug companion Tuk Tuk, to track down the last dragon in order to finally stop the Druun for good. Presenting The 78th Annual Golden Globe Awards Winners

The 78th Annual Golden Globe Awards were handed out in a virtual ceremony that was hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler who are returning for the fourth time, after hosting in 2013, 2014, and 2015. Fey and Poehler will share duties from their respective cities, with Fey on the East Coast and Poehler on the West Coast. Fey will be live from New York’s Rainbow Room, Poehler will be live from the Beverly Hilton, in Beverly Hills, and nominees, from various locations around the world. The full list of winners are:
