As a long time fan of the “Toy Story” original film and its sequels and yes the subsequent toy lines I have to say that I am very excited about the opening of the brand-new Disney/Pixar film “Lightyear” which takes us back in time to the origins of the man who eventually inspired a toy. The film opens today and we’ve already shared the Teaser Trailer and the Official Trailer in other narratives which you can peruse by clicking the hyperlinked text. To round this out properly I’ve got some new art, the basic premise and of course the voice casting. To infinity and beyond!!!! Let’s go.

Nowadays it seems as though every big franchise is getting some kind of prequel so why shold anything be different for one of the most popular characters in the Disney/Pixar family, the legendary Buzz Lightyear from the hit films “Toy Story”.
