Netflix Presents “Happy Gilmore 2” Official Teaser

There are so many great comedy films from Adam Sandler to choose from but “Happy Gilmore” is probably his biggest hit of the bunch. Now it’s not the kind of film that one would expect a sequel being done for but nowadays such a practice is commonplace. This leads me to the news that a sequel is indeed coming and to Netflix who just dropped the teaser clip. Check that out down below along with a basic premise and casting.

The Premise: Twenty-nine years after winning his first Tour Championship, retired golfer Happy Gilmore returns to the sport to pay for his daughter Vienna’s ballet school (c/o Wiki).

Now Playing: Universal Pictures “Wicked” (11/22/2024)

Having already discussed the legacy and milestone status of the Broadway show “Wicked” in one of the previously posted trailer narratives I don’t have much more to add to the mix other that ask how excited is everyone for the opening of the film today. The advance reviews have been positive which is always a good sign and I know a lot of people that are anxious to enjoy its magic on the big screen. Now Streaming: “Unfrosted” on Netflix (5/3/2024)

Some of you readers might recall our sharing the Official Trailer for the Netflix comedy “Unfrosted” and if you didn’t see that post its easily rectified by clicking HERE. The film marks the directorial debut of Jerry Seinfeld and has an all-star comedic cast. The premise surrounds a battle for breakfast domination between Kellogg’s and Post and this film is available to stream as of early this morning if you are a subscriber to the Netflix service. The poster is down below and I’ve once again added the premise and massive casting for refresher sake.

The Premise: In this “tale of ambition, betrayal, sugar, and menacing milkmen”, cereal company Kellogg’s attempts to beat their rival Post to the market with a revolutionary breakfast pastry in 1963 Battle Creek, Michigan.

Tonight: “Justified: City Primevil” on FX Network (7/18/2023)

As I mentioned in the post that featured the Official Trailer (seen HERE ICYMI), its been just about eight years since the television world last saw Raylan Givens in action. Givens is the star of the novels by Elmore Leonard that was featured in the very popular series “Justified” which ran for a number of years. Now he is back in “Justified: City Primevil” which premieres tonight on the FX Network and then will be streaming on the Hulu Network as well for good measure. Will you be watching? Here is some reminder about the brief series.

The Premise: Raylan Givens left Kentucky for Miami, where he continues working as a U.S. Marshal while helping raise his daughter. He soon finds himself in Detroit, pursuing The Oklahoma Wildman, Clement Mansell, who has been eluding the Detroit police force.
