Due to the issues surrounding large conventions and trade shows based on the Coronavirus Pandemic, the 2021 edition of Toy Fair has been postponed from the Winter Event with hopes for a smaller presentation in the Spring. More information as that is revealed and listings via this resource. A statement from the Toy Association President was shared on PiercingMetal and can be perused HERE.
As previously mentioned, the Media High Command of “The Chronicles” AND the PiercingMetal.com website were in attendance at the annual Toy Fair and believe it or not this was our 10th time attending as a member of the press. One of the highlights of the Toy Fair is the unveiling of the products that were given the title of “Toy Of The Year” and this is a feature that I post exclusively on “The Chronicles”. Its mostly because of the age-groups of the products so let’s have the envelope please and see these winners. Some narrative and links will be interspersed as I find inspiration. Enjoy.
When I was growing up I always loved the miniature cars from both Matchbox and Hot Wheels. I am always happy to see the Mattel brand coming up with creative items year after year.

Good morning my dedicated readers, I am here nice and early to announce that for the next four days, the PiercingMetal Media Command HQ will be a mobile unit and exploring the always amazing Toy Fair which will be taking place at the Javits Center from Saturday to Tuesday.
This years event will mark my 10th annual visit to the trade show as a part of the press and comes in advance of this websites own 10th anniversary so I feel there is much cause for celebration. The Toy Fair coverage used to be solely done on PiercingMetal but once “The Chronicles” started getting a lot of attention, I expanded some of the adventures here. I’ve scheduled quite a few appointments and am looking forward to seeing what the folks at Crayola, Tokidoki, Playmobil, Schleich, Safari Limited and so many more have in store for us. You’re going to want to tune into our Official Facebook, Instagram and Twitter to see all of the awesome as fast as we do.

Hey there readers, just a quick alert about our next few days of activities as “The Chronicles Of Piercing Ken” Lifestyle Blog will once again be heading to the American International Toy Fair that will be happening at the Javits Center over the next four days. This is our 9th year of attendance and much like the last few years, additional reports will be posted over on PiercingMetal. Be sure to stay tuned for these narratives so you can be on top of the holiday purchasing season.
Much like our coverage of the New York Comic Con, the Toy Fair adventures will be serialized posts with many of them being direct company focuses to offer greater impact on their product lines. I might do a day by day overview with additional thoughts but that will be a battlefield decision at the moment.
