It’s pretty safe to assume that you all know how much I love the live concert scene here in NYC based on all of my adventures as the Master and Commander of PiercingMetal.com and this is multiplied when the events are free of charge. Yesterday, ABC revealed their “Good Morning America – Summer Concert Series” lineup and while there are only a few Rock shows that are a part of it….I wanted to share the information with you just the same. Check it out below and I will return at the close with additional thoughts.

How to Attend a Summer Concert

*The Bebe Rexha concert (6/30) will be held in our Times Square studio. The Dierks Bentley concert info will be announced at a later date.
All other concerts are free and open to the public and will take place on Fridays from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. ET. Viewers interested in joining “GMA” in Central Park are encouraged to arrive at Rumsey Playfield via the 72nd Street entrance on Fifth Avenue at 6 a.m. when the park opens to the public. The Summer Concert Series returns for the eighth year to Rumsey Playfield in Central Park, home of City Parks Foundation’s SummerStage Festival.
PiercingKen Thoughts: I’ll be listing many of the events on our handy dandy Events Calendar for sure so if you do NOT yet have that bookmarked as a favorite on your computer or mobile device please get to that ASAP. I want you to be up to date on the latest and greatest happenings in our region. Now as you can see, these events happen very early in the morning and I can only stress that acting fast and being there in as timely a fashion is in your best interests. I’d like to see the Green Day, Linkin Park and Paramore shows for sure and review them for the PiercingMetal.com side of my coin but I don’t see myself really paying much mind to the rest of them. Maybe I’ll try to do the Lumineers or Imagine Dragons for the Chronicles Of PiercingKen if my schedule for this outlet permits such a dalliance. So what do you readers think about these offerings?
