It was only a few short weeks ago when I first touched upon this topic with the Official Teaser for the Netflix Original series “Vikings: Valhalla” (discussed HERE if you missed that). Now its time to enjoy the full on Official Trailer for the streaming services continuation of the series that once ran on the History Channel. View that down below along with some basic premise, casting and promotional art. I’ll return at the close as is my usual practice.

The Premise:
Set one hundred years after the events of Vikings, as tensions between the Vikings and the English royals reach a bloody breaking point and as the Vikings themselves clash over their conflicting Christian and Pagan beliefs. Leif Erikson, Freydís Eiríksdóttir and Harald Hardrada begin an epic journey that will take them across oceans and through battlefields, from Kattegat to England and beyond, as they fight for survival and glory. The series shows the end of the Viking Age, marked by Battle of Stamford Bridge in 1066.

Piercing Ken Thoughts: : If you clicked through to the previous post about this topic, you would have learned that we never managed to view a single episode of the original “Vikings” series when it ran on the History Channel. If you didn’t, well you are hearing it now. I wanted to peruse it but I only have so much time to sit and binge-watch stuff here and with that being said I can share that I didn’t even watch the trailer that I’ve posted for fear of learning some outcomes that would surprise me otherwise when I finally sit down and tackle this one. I hope you all liked it and I am glad that Netflix continues to build up its stock of cool original programming. You can chime in your thoughts down below and know that I will keep tabs on this one here on “The Chronicles” for good measure. See you next time, please stay safe out there.
