The History Channel’s original series “Vikings” was well-received by many who appreciated the Scandinavian culture and when they announced its finale a lot of those fans were greatly disappointed. Netflix saved the day by offering up a continuation of the story with their series “Vikings: Valhalla” and I’ve discussed it already with the trailer post found HERE in case you missed that. Now, the series in full is available on the streaming service so here is another look at the Official Poster along with the premise and casting. Enjoy.

The series shows the end of the Viking Age, marked by Battle of Stamford Bridge in 1066.

Piercing Ken Thoughts: When I posted the trailer and teaser clips I made mention that I never managed to watch the original series despite being interested. It was one of those shows that I felt I could breeze through in the height of the pandemic but instead I opted to get my DVR into a more manageable state. It was at about 97% when I determined it should be addressed but I digress. I’ve an interest in seeing this continuation but figure that I won’t do that until I see the series that came before it. What about you readers? Are you stoked about this new series from Netflix? Did you watch the original or are like me and still not in the know. Chime in down below in the comments section and I will see you next time. Please stay safe out there.
