Following a thorough analysis of the local market and our safety-first principles, we have decided to cancel this year’s 2021 Progressive Insurance New York Boat Show scheduled for January 27-31, 2021. We hope to see you in 2022, when we return to the Javits Center.
While we can’t connect in-person this year, stay tuned! We’ll soon launch a new program connecting you with the latest products and all your favorite boating brands at the best prices so you can create more memories on the water.

Piercing Ken Thoughts: This news doesn’t surprise me at all considering the way that all large-scale events have been getting moved or cancelled out right. January is usually a very busy month as we’ve found the NY Times Travel Show and the BroadwayCon happening during the same time as the boat show and while the travel show cancelled back in June, the BWC has not even announced dates at the time of this writing. Then we learned that the usual in Spring Auto Show was being moved to several months later. Each of those stories are linked to down below this closing editorial. The Boat Show is fun but based on the overall scale of the crafts and the kind of teams you need to build such an event it makes 100% sense that it would be cancelled. At this rate I will not be banking on too many things happening in 2021 either unless we get a better handle on this virus and controlling or eliminating it. Be safe out there my friends, wear a mask, maintain some distance and please, please, please, please DO NOT throw your masks or gloves down on the ground in the public streets. That’s disgusting.
