Now Streaming: “The Irishman” on Netflix (11/27/2019)

Back in September we shared the Official Trailer for the new Crime Drama by Martin Scorcese, “The Irishman”. As previously noted, this film was written by Steven Zaillian and is based on a 2004 non-fiction book called “I Heard You Paint Houses” which was written by Charles Brandt. The film had a limited theatrical run that began on 11/1 and now is available for streaming on Netflix. Below you can find the Official Poster, premise and the ensemble casting. Enjoy.

The Premise: The Irishman is the story of Frank Sheeran, a mob hitman and World War II vet who develops his skills during his service in Italy. Now an old man, he reflects on the events that defined his career as a hitman, particularly the role he played in the disappearance of labor leader Jimmy Hoffa, his longtime friend, and his involvement with the Bufalino crime family.

Back in July we shared the Official Teaser for the upcoming Crime Drama by Martin Scorcese, “The Irishman”. As previously noted, this film was written by Steven Zaillian and is based on a 2004 non-fiction book called “I Heard You Paint Houses” which was written by Charles Brandt. Netflix Presents: “The Irishman” Official Teaser

According to what I’ve read, “The Irishman” is the next American crime film that has been produced and directed by Martin Scorsese. The story was written by Steven Zaillian and is based on a 2004 non-fiction book called “I Heard You Paint Houses” which was written by Charles Brandt. The first trailer for this film is below so check it out and know I will return with more information at the close.
