Hey Fiends, I’m back with some more scoop on the brand-new film “The Witches” which not only is a more in tune with the book by Roald Dahl, but also arrives on your preferred method of enjoying film and television just before Halloween. How cool is that? I discussed the trailer HERE if you missed it and now to move it along, please review the poster, premise and casting. Sure I will close out with some editorial as is my standard operating procedure.

Warner Brothers Pictures: “The Witches” Official Trailer

In 1990, the world saw an adaptation of the 1983 novel by Roald Dahl entitled “The Witches” and it was a quirky fun ride into some supernatural spookiness. Now, in 2020, we are receiving a somewhat closer to the original novel reimagining starring Anne Hathaway as the High Witch. The first official trailer was just released and you can enjoy it down below.

The Premise: Set in 1960s Alabama, an orphaned young boy stumbles across a conference of witches, while staying with his grandmother at a hotel, and gets transformed into a mouse by the Grand High Witch.

Universal Pictures: “Dolittle” Promotional Posters

Several days ago when I posted the second trailer for the Universal Pictures film “Dolittle”, I promised to return to showcase a few of the promotional posters (trailer post HERE in case you missed that). Universal Pictures: “Dolittle” Official Trailer 2

It was back in October when we last touched upon the topic of the Universal Pictures film “Dolittle” and as mentioned back then this one finds Robert Downey Jr. (Marvel’s “Iron Man”) in the role made famous by the great Rex Harrison. The 2020 re-imagining comes some 53 years after that “Doctor Dolittle film and though you’ve seen the First Trailer, it’s now time to enjoy a second. Universal Pictures: “Dolittle” Official Trailer

It’s been a long time since I’ve seen the original “Doctor Dolittle” film which starred the great Rex Harrison. That film opened in 1967 so it makes sense that a remake would be done and this new Universal Pictures stars Robert Downey Jr. in the role. Let’s check out the first official trailer for the film.
