Hey Fiends, I’m back with some more scoop on the brand-new film “The Witches” which not only is a more in tune with the book by Roald Dahl, but also arrives on your preferred method of enjoying film and television just before Halloween. How cool is that? I discussed the trailer HERE if you missed it and now to move it along, please review the poster, premise and casting. The Premise: Set in 1960s Alabama, an orphaned young boy stumbles across a conference of witches, while staying with his grandmother at a hotel, and gets transformed into a mouse by the Grand High Witch.

Warner Brothers Pictures: “The Witches” Official Trailer

In 1990, the world saw an adaptation of the 1983 novel by Roald Dahl entitled “The Witches” and it was a quirky fun ride into some supernatural spookiness. Now, in 2020, we are receiving a somewhat closer to the original novel reimagining starring Anne Hathaway as the High Witch. The first official trailer was just released and you can enjoy it down below.
