The Press Release:
The first Super Bowl in Los Angeles this century will feature a star-studded halftime show befitting of Hollywood.
Pepsi, the NFL and Roc Nation announced Thursday that Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar will perform at the Pepsi Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show at SoFi Stadium on Feb. 13 on NBC and Telemundo, and streaming live on Peacock.
“They’re creepy and they’re kooky; Mysterious and spooky; They’re all together ooky – The Addams Family”… Sure I might have started the teaser trailer post (seen HERE) with that same introduction but now that we have the first full on trailer I couldn’t help myself. In case this is news to you, those crazies in the Addams Family will be starring in a brand-new animated feature and now its time to get a slightly better look. This MGM feature opens on Halloween.
Last night the annual BET Awards were handed out and this post amounts to the first time that I am sharing the winners of the awards with the readership. Generally speaking, with these sorts of items I like to do a post with all the nominees and then follow it with the results from the broadcast. Since some of you might not be too up on these awards for whatever reason, I’ve culled their description from the Official Wiki; Take a look –
“The BET Awards were established in 2001 by the Black Entertainment Television network to celebrate African Americans and other American minorities in music, acting, sports, and other fields of entertainment over the past year. The awards are presented annually, and are broadcast live on BET. The annual presentation ceremony features performances by artists, and some of the awards of more popular interest are presented in a televised ceremony.”
