Presenting The 64th Annual Grammy Awards Winners

grammy awards, grammy awards 2022,

Last night, the Recording Academy handed out the trophies during the 64th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony and no, I didn’t manage to watch or even DVR the program. I worked all day and then spent the night rocking out with Dragonforce for the PiercingMetal site. I did cull the winners into the list that you will find below and this time around I’ve decided to leave off the other nominees in most of the categories since the original list was a lengthy and ponderous read. You can compare notes on the Nominations post found HERE if you like. Here now are your winners for the 64th Annual Grammy Awards. Enjoy.

Here’s The Winners Of The 2018 MTV Video Music Awards

Last night, MTV aired their 2018 “Video Music Awards” live from New York City’s famous Radio City Music Hall and when I stopped to consider the amount of Housewife Diary Shore Race reality programs that the network airs each and every day, I wondered when they actually had the time to show any music videos. Of course, I should stress that I hardly pay any mind to the network in today’s world since my own musical interests are so very different from what is considered popular over there. That said, I still wanted to share the winners of the “2018 MTV Video Music Awards” since I’ve done this kind of posting for the 2018 Academy Awards and The Tony Awards so why not keep on going. *** end of list ***

Piercing Ken Thoughts: Another long list but once again one that doesn’t pay any mind to the primary genre that I love so much and support in earnest over on PiercingMetal.com – oh well, what can you do. For those who wonder about how these awards come to pass, according to their Official Wikipedia entry “the Billboard Music Awards finalists are based on album and digital songs sales, streaming, radio airplay, touring, and social engagement. These measurements are tracked year-round by Billboard and its data partners, including Nielsen Music and Next Big Sound”. Considering the lack of Heavy Music presented or any of the tours that I knew were sold out at each and every stop, I guess the fans of those events aren’t in the tabulations. Oh well. I didn’t watch the broadcast and since I know so few of what the winners ended up being am kind of glad that I bypassed it. What about you folks who listen to much different stuff from my Metal side? Did some of your favorites win or were they cheated out of the prize? Chime in down below in the comments since that is what they are here for after all. Congrats to Ed Sheeran and Kendrick Lamar who seem to have brought home the bacon with this years awards.

Here’s The Full 2018 Grammy Award Winners List

grammy awards logo

Hey there my friends, so last night they broadcast the 60th Annual Grammy Awards and since I’ve been enjoying showcasing these kind of spectacles with you – I’ve culled together the full list of winners from numerous sources to make sure I didn’t leave anything out. I don’t usually watch the broadcast since there is so little Rock and Metal represented but I do still share those winners on my PiercingMetal.com website. I told the readers of this blog that I do this to fire up the tempers of the Metal reviews readers since they get so passionate about the subject. You’ll notice that this year I’ve showcased the winners only and not the other nominees. This is much easier to read and finish examining in a few minutes unlike the other list which I think ran me something like fourteen pages of text. Here we go.

Record of the Year: 24K Magic by Bruno Mars

Album of the Year: 24K Magic by Bruno Mars

Song of the Year: ”That’s What I Like” — Christopher Brody Brown, James Fauntleroy, Philip Lawrence, Bruno Mars, Ray Charles McCullough II, Jeremy Reeves, Ray Romulus & Jonathan Yip, songwriters (Bruno Mars)
