Presenting The 42nd Brit Awards Nominations

brit awards, brit awards 2022

In keeping with the sharing of assorted awards nominations and winners I am continuing my no longer new angle with the Brit Awards, a ceremony focused on the best in British Music. It’s curated by the British Phonographic Industry and to cull some notes from their Wikipedia entry “the BPI announced in November 2021 that the Brit Awards would no longer use gendered categories, and that it would also revive the categories for best Alternative/Rock Act, Dance Act, Hip Hop/Rap/Grime Act, and Pop/R&B Act”. Piercing Ken Thoughts: So that’s that for the nominations my friends and I wonder what you think about them if you are following the British music scene at all. I don’t really do much of that myself but I know some of the bigger names being up for the award. I wish them all the best and please know that I will return with the winners list once they hold the ceremony and give out the statues. You can chime in about the nominations if you’d like and especially if you think that someone was left out who should have been in this list. I’ll see you again soon with more stuff as we continue to keep serving up the information in pandemic times. Please stay safe out there.
