bet awards logo

Last night the annual BET Awards were handed out and this post amounts to the first time that I am sharing the winners of the awards with the readership. Generally speaking, with these sorts of items I like to do a post with all the nominees and then follow it with the results from the broadcast. Since some of you might not be too up on these awards for whatever reason, I’ve culled their description from the Official Wiki; Take a look –

“The BET Awards were established in 2001 by the Black Entertainment Television network to celebrate African Americans and other American minorities in music, acting, sports, and other fields of entertainment over the past year. The awards are presented annually, and are broadcast live on BET. The annual presentation ceremony features performances by artists, and some of the awards of more popular interest are presented in a televised ceremony.”

Here’s The Winners Of The 2017 Billboard Music Awards

billboard music awards logo

Considering that I run a Heavy Metal and Hard Rock music review and photography site like PiercingMetal.com, there aren’t a whole lot of times that I find myself perusing the pages of Billboard Magazine. Sure I know they are the keepers of all the chart information but so much of what I am lending my time to is seldom lined out in there. It’s a cruel truth when we follow music that is not supported here as much as it is in other countries. That being said; I still like to use “The Chronicles” as a means to line out those artists who have won since the readers of this site are usually listening to other stuff than I am. Here we go, and I’d get a coffee for this one since it’s a long list. I’ve culled this from the other entertainment sites and left the nominees in for good measure.

mtv movie awards logo

Since The Academy Awards are the most prestigious for the film industry, it’s probably safe to say that the MTV Movie & TV awards are the most laid back by comparison. I didn’t see much that the Oscars were awarded but when I gleaned this list of nominees and winners I realized it was more of the “regular joe” viewing and I was totally fine with that. Continuing on with my presenting the winners of assorted awards shows, here is the complete list of those who won “The Popcorn Statue” that is given out by these presenters. I felt this would be some good content for the larger media side of the creative fence. Last night the Grammy Awards were given out for so many genres of popular music it will make your head spin. They have some “Rock” and “Metal” categories which I speak a little about over on PiercingMetal, but that is generally done to fire up our readers should something important be overlooked.
