Superhero fans around the world will be able to give themselves an early Christmas present (or a late Hanukkah present depending on which you follow) based on the opening of the film “Aquaman” which continues Warner Brothers Pictures “DC Extended Universe”. I’ve discussed the film a few times over on the PiercingMetal website in terms of the Final Trailer (seen HERE) and some awesome Promotional Posters (seen HERE). Let’s reflect on the Theatrical Poster, Premise and Ensemble Cast down below before I close out with some editorial.

Illuminations “The Secret Life Of Pets 2” – The Snowball Trailer

the secret life of pets 2 logo

Next year, the folks at Illumination Entertainment (who’ve given us the “Despicable Me” films) will be bringing us back into the world that happens while we are at work or school with “The Secret Life Of Pets 2”. This trailer is one that features the character Snowball, a white rabbit. Let’s look and if you’ve missed any of the other posts about this film just click HERE.

The Synopsis: Max faces some major changes after his owner Katie gets married and now has a child named Liam, up to the point he becomes overprotective. On a family trip to the countryside, Max meets a farm dog named Rooster, and both attempt to overcome his fears. Meanwhile, Gidget tries to rescue Max’s favorite toy from a cat-packed apartment, and Snowball sets on a mission to free a white tiger named Hu from a circus.

We have arrived at the first Official Trailer for the now titled sequel to “Avengers: Infinity War” which is “Avengers: Endgame” and I love that as the films title. Stan Lee has a cameo in the film

PiercingMetal Thoughts: This was a seriously somber trailer and didn’t show too much action as much as it showed the characters dealing with the outcome from the preceding film. As you can see by the casting, just about everyone is going to be in this film and that makes me really excited for the promotional posters to come since I always share those. It was interesting to not see Captain Marvel at all in this first clip since we know she is a part of the solution and if you missed our showcase of that second trailer just click HERE to be up to date. I’ll close up by asking what you think about this and you can share your thoughts down in the comments below.

Marvel Studios “Captain Marvel” Official Trailer 2 (2019)

captain marvel movie logo

It was pretty exciting news to learn that the second trailer for the upcoming Marvel Studio film “Captain Marvel” was going to air last night during the football game but I didn’t watch it there since I don’t follow any of that stuff at all.   I closely monitored the YouTube channels and now, without any further adieu, here is the latest trailer for Marvel’s “Captain Marvel”…..hold onto your hats!

The Premise: Set in the mid-1990s, Captain Marvel follows Carol Danvers, a former U.S. Air Force fighter pilot, as she turns into one of the galaxy’s mightiest heroes and joins Starforce, an elite Kree military team, before returning home with new questions about her past and identity when the Earth is caught in the center of an intergalactic conflict between two alien worlds. (thanks Wiki).

The Cast/Characters:
Brie Larson as Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel
Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury
Ben Mendelsohn as Talos
Djimon Hounsou as Korath
Lee Pace as Ronan the Accuser
Lashana Lynch as Maria Rambeau
Gemma Chan as Minn-Erva
Algenis Perez Soto as Att-Lass
Mckenna Grace as young Carol Danvers
Rune Temte as Bron-Char
Clark Gregg as Phil Coulson
Jude Law as Mar-Vell/Walter Lawson
Additionally, Robert Kazinsky, Annette Bening, Vik Sahay, Colin Ford, and Chuku Modu have been cast in undisclosed roles.

Piercing Ken Thoughts:   I’m just going to repeat what I said on the same post that lives on PiercingMetal.com since I obviously feel the same way on this side of the creative coin.  With the first trailer I had said “Oh Marvel Studios it sure looks like you have done it again” and wow does this second trailer exceed all the expectations that I had from the first one. This looks like its going to blow our minds and do that necessary expanding of the Cosmic Universe in the MCU. Don’t even get me started on that amazing theatrical poster that led you into our closing editorial ramblings. Such color, such powerful visuals…..PSYCHED! Now that we are in December, this film will be here before you know it but of course still comes after the other action films we’ve recently been discussing like “Mortal Engines”, “Bumblebee”, “Aquaman” and that weirdness they are calling “Once Upon A Deadpool” (which is the PG cut of “Deadpool 2”). Clearly, 2019 is going to kick some serious cinema behind and now the countdown begins for the forthcoming trailer for “Godzilla: King Of The Monsters” and “Avengers 4” (which still has no title). What did you readers think about the latest trailer? Do you love it or do you love it? Chime in down below in the comments and I shall see you next time.
