It would be difficult to properly gauge the popularity of The Super Mario Brothers based on their numerous appearances in some blockbuster games over these many years. In addition to these games, there are toys, cartoons, comic books and now a brand-new feature film from Universal Pictures. The trailer just recently dropped for “The Super Mario Galaxy Movie” and I’ve shared the trailer, basic premise and voice casting for you to peruse down below.

The Premise: Mario and Luigi meet and befriend Yoshi as they join Princess Peach and Toad on an adventure into outer space and across the galaxy. They meet Rosalina and face off against Bowser and his son, Bowser Jr. (c/o Wiki)

Those of you who are glued to the Net during these still pandemic times might recall that the last time I lent a little attention to the Focus Features upcoming film “The Northman” was way, way back in December when we got the Official Trailer (which you can review by clicking that highlighted text). While I don’t know if another one is coming, I wanted to revisit the topic since the movie is being released in a few weeks. This post presents a few of the promotional posters that I found around the web and it showcases some Hollywood greats in true Viking style. I’ve also added the premise and casting for good measure.

Here’s one that will definitely appeal to those fans of the History Channel series “Vikings”. It stars Alexander Skarsgard who many might remember from the “True Blood” series among other things. The film comes care of Focus Features and is simply called “The Northman”. The first official trailer is below so check it out.

Presenting The 78th Annual Golden Globe Awards Winners

The 78th Annual Golden Globe Awards were handed out in a virtual ceremony that was hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler who are returning for the fourth time, after hosting in 2013, 2014, and 2015. Fey and Poehler will share duties from their respective cities, with Fey on the East Coast and Poehler on the West Coast. Fey will be live from New York’s Rainbow Room, Poehler will be live from the Beverly Hilton, in Beverly Hills, and nominees, from various locations around the world. The full list of winners are:

It was just two weeks ago or so that I shared the full Official Trailer for the Netflix Original Series “The Dark Crystal: Age Of Resistance” over on my PiercingMetal website and if you missed that clip just click HERE since its going to be helpful if you plan in delving into the show.
